Shipping policy
1. Overview
This Shipping Policy outlines how orders are processed, handled, and delivered through Janbox. Due to the nature of cross-border commerce and the involvement of third-party sellers and logistics providers, shipping times and conditions may vary depending on multiple factors.
By using Janbox, you acknowledge and agree to the shipping processes, timelines, and responsibilities described in this policy.
2. Shipping Flow
Shipping on Janbox typically involves multiple stages before delivery to the final destination.
For proxy purchases, the process includes:
Purchase from a Japanese seller
Domestic shipping within Japan to the Janbox warehouse
Warehouse processing and storage
International shipping to the buyer
For marketplace orders, the process may vary depending on whether the seller ships directly or uses Janbox fulfillment services.
Each stage may involve different timelines and service providers.
3. Domestic Shipping (Within Japan)
For proxy purchases, items must first be shipped from the original seller to the Janbox warehouse in Japan.
Domestic shipping is handled by the seller or local carriers and is subject to:
Seller processing time
Shipping method selected by the seller
Seller location and availability
Janbox does not control domestic shipping timelines and is not responsible for delays caused by sellers or local carriers.
Domestic shipping fees may be charged separately and are typically determined by the seller.
4. Warehouse Processing
Once items arrive at the Janbox warehouse, they will undergo intake processing.
This process may include:
Package inspection (basic external check only)
Item registration in the system
Storage assignment
Processing time typically ranges from 1 to 3 business days, but may be longer during peak periods.
Janbox may also offer additional services such as:
Package consolidation (combining multiple orders into one shipment)
Repackaging for optimized shipping
Optional protective packaging
Additional fees may apply for these services.
5. Storage Policy
Items may be stored in the Janbox warehouse for a limited free storage period, after which storage fees may apply.
Users are responsible for:
Monitoring storage duration
Initiating shipment within the allowed timeframe
Items left in storage beyond the permitted period without action may be considered abandoned and handled in accordance with our Terms of Service.

Janbox is not liable for:
Loss, theft, or damage during transit

Users are strongly encouraged to purchase shipping insurance where available.
